Company Program

JA Company Program empowers high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community and teaches them practical skills required to conceptualize, capitalize, and manage their own business venture. Community volunteers and mentors provide real-world guidance and experience to the student-led startup. It is the world’s largest entrepreneurship education program. Each year close to half a million school-age students spread across 100 countries take part in it.

The program, which has been running for over 100 years, takes students through the process of starting a business from idea to liquidation. Forbes ranks the JA Company Program as one of the five leading global programs supporting the next generation of Entreprenuers. In Houston, the JA Company Programs enjoys wide-scale outreach and a strong alumni network.
